Widen the radius a little and the Dasanapura–Nelamangala industrial belt also includes Himalaya Wellness. If your visit is to any of these, or a supplier nearby, you're not commuting in from the city — you're already local.
BIEC (Bangalore International Exhibition Centre) is roughly 15–20 minutes away by road in the mornings, a little longer in evening traffic — close enough for exhibition days, far enough that you're not paying venue-adjacent hotel rates for venue-adjacent noise.
